Why did I decided to start YouTubeing
As I was watching YouTube videos on the topic of combining Python and Excel, I noticed that many of the tutorials did not seem to be applicable to a real-world business scenario. The example Excel data used in these tutorials was often already in a clean and organized format, which is not always the case in actual companies. In my experience, Excel files in the professional world can be challenging to work with due to the wide variety of conventions that may be employed to structure the data, such as merging cells or spreading it out across multiple sheets or workbooks.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the associated restrictions on in-person activities, I found myself with a significant amount of extra time at home. Seeking to make productive use of this time, I decided to share some of my code and solutions related to practical tips for using Python and VBA in a business setting on YouTube. My goal was to cover real-world use-cases on how these tools can be used to streamline and simplify office life, in the hope that it might be helpful to someone. After receiving my first positive feedback on the platform, I became motivated to create more tutorials, and thus began my journey on YouTube.
