How is travel time calculated? Is it always the same?

Travel time is calculated using Google Maps routing data. You can choose whether the calculation uses current traffic conditions or ignores traffic and relies on typical road speeds. When traffic is enabled, travel times can change based on congestion, accidents, or road works. When traffic is disabled, the same route will return consistent results.
