Bulk Phone Validator Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what data the Bulk Phone Validator app for Windows handles. The short version: the app runs entirely on your own PC. The spreadsheets you load and the phone numbers in them are never uploaded anywhere, there is no account and no telemetry, and the app makes exactly one kind of network request: the optional feedback form, and only when you press Send. 1. Who We Are

Bulk Phone Validator is a free tool made by Bosau Digital LLC, the company behind pythonandvba.com. For any privacy-related question, contact contact@pythonandvba.com.

2. Your Files and Phone Numbers Stay on Your PC

The app reads the spreadsheet or CSV file you choose, validates the phone numbers locally using Google's libphonenumber library, and writes reports only where you choose to save them. Your files, the numbers in them and all validation results stay on your computer; we never see any of it. Validation works completely without an internet connection.

The reports you export and the numbers you copy to the clipboard are ordinary files and clipboard content on your PC, under your control alone.

3. What the App Stores on Your PC

The app keeps no databases, no settings files and no copies of your data. It stores a single technical error log in its local application data folder, written only when something goes wrong. The log contains error details for troubleshooting; it never contains your phone numbers or the contents of your files. When the app is installed from the Microsoft Store, Windows removes this log automatically when you uninstall the app.

4. The Feedback Form (the Only Data That Can Leave Your PC)

If you open the feedback form in the app's footer and press Send, we receive: your message, your name and your email address (both optional; leave them blank to stay anonymous), the app version, your Windows version and the time of sending. Nothing is sent if you never use the form.

Feedback is delivered to us through Pabbly Connect, our webhook processor, and is used for exactly one purpose: reading and answering your message. We do not sell it or share it with anyone else, and if you include your email address, we may use it to reply to you.

5. No Analytics, No Ads, No Tracking

The app contains no analytics, no automatic error reporting, no advertising and no third-party trackers. The links in the app (to pythonandvba.com and our other tools, including QuickText SMS) simply open in your own web browser; nothing about you is transmitted when the app shows them.

6. Microsoft Store

Bulk Phone Validator is installed and updated through the Microsoft Store. Microsoft may process install and usage statistics under its own privacy statement; we only see the aggregated numbers Microsoft shows to app publishers, never anything about you personally.

7. Third Parties

The only third party involved in the app's operation is Pabbly Connect, which receives feedback-form submissions as our processor (see the Pabbly privacy policy). No other data ever leaves your PC, so no other third party can receive any.

8. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom: sending feedback is entirely voluntary, and we process it on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in reading and answering it (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The app processes your phone number lists locally on your device only, so that processing never reaches us and involves no transfer at all.

9. Data Retention

• Feedback messages: kept only as long as needed to handle your message, then deleted
• Everything else: stays on your PC and never reaches us in the first place

10. Your Rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any feedback you sent us at any time: contact contact@pythonandvba.com and you will receive a response within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or the UK, you additionally have the rights to restriction, data portability, objection and a complaint to a supervisory authority. These requests are honoured for users everywhere, not only where the law requires it.

11. Data Security

The feedback form is the app's only transmission, and it uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Everything else stays on your PC, protected by your Windows user account like your other documents.

12. Children's Privacy

Bulk Phone Validator is a business and productivity tool and is not directed at children under 16. Since the app collects no data on its own, no children's data is collected either.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest change. Material changes will be visible here before they take effect.
