Your dashboard in three steps

1

Choose your style

Start with interactive or hand-drawn charts. Two examples are ready to edit, and you can add up to four charts.

2

Add your numbers

Choose a chart, edit its table or paste cells from Excel. Each chart has its own data. Change the titles and pick matching dashboard colors.

3

Arrange it and share

Move charts into order and choose one or two columns. Download your dashboard as interactive HTML, PNG or SVG.

One page for the numbers that matter

A monthly team overview

Combine revenue, orders and a breakdown by channel. Keep the main numbers together in a dashboard anyone can open.

A survey or project update

Use hand-drawn charts for responses, progress or a team retrospective. A shared palette keeps the page consistent.

A starting point for your next report

Save a project file to keep your data, charts and settings. Open it here next time, replace the numbers and download a fresh dashboard.

Frequently asked questions

Is this dashboard maker free?

Yes. Both styles, all chart types and HTML, PNG and SVG downloads are free, with no watermark or account. Chartmeister and CutePlots are our separate Excel add-ins.

Are hand-drawn dashboards interactive too?

Yes. Both styles support hover and tap tooltips in the preview and downloaded HTML. Standard charts also support their usual legend interactions where available. PNG and SVG files are static images.

How do I add my Excel data?

Choose a chart using its Edit button or the Editing chart menu. Paste cells including column headings, edit the table, or choose Import CSV. Each chart accepts up to 120 data rows and four value columns. Load example shows the layout needed for that chart type.

Can I mix styles in one dashboard?

Each dashboard uses one style so its charts look consistent. Switching styles opens a separate dashboard, and your work in each style stays in this tab. A saved project includes both dashboards.

How do I save my work and edit it later?

Choose Save project to download a JSON project file. Choose Open project here to continue editing it later. The HTML download is a finished dashboard for viewing and sharing; use the project file for further editing.

Does the downloaded dashboard work offline?

Yes. The HTML includes the chart engine, chart data and styling. Open it in a recent version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari. You can hover or tap the charts to inspect values without an internet connection. Anyone receiving the file can see its data.

Does my data get uploaded or saved?

Your dashboard is built in this browser tab. The tool does not upload your chart data or store it in browser storage. Download a project file to keep your work before closing or reloading the page. The website still uses its normal services; see our privacy policy.

Can I create just one chart?

Yes. Remove the other chart, or use the dedicated Interactive Chart Maker and Hand-Drawn Chart Maker.

What do the Excel add-ins add?

Chartmeister and CutePlots work with your worksheet data directly. Use them when you want to create charts inside Excel and update them as your numbers change.

Open-source credits

Standard charts use Apache ECharts 5.6.0. Hand-drawn charts use the CutePlots rendering engine, roughViz, Rough.js, D3 and the Indie Flower font. Their license notices are bundled with the engines and HTML downloads.
