Yes. CutePlots opens in a panel beside your worksheet. Select your cells, choose a chart, and style it without leaving Excel. It replaces the original CutePlots add-in.
CutePlots works with Excel on Windows and Mac (Microsoft 365 or Office 2021 and later), plus Excel on the web. You need an internet connection to open it. If your workplace blocks add-ins, ask your IT team to enable CutePlots. It does not work on iPad or iPhone.
No. Select your data, choose a chart type, and use the styling controls. The included sample sheet gives you a starting point for every chart. You can save a style and reuse it on your next chart.
The preview follows changes to your selected cells while the CutePlots panel is open. Pictures already inserted in the workbook update when you choose Update this picture, Update charts on this sheet, or Update all charts. Downloaded files and shared links keep the numbers from when you created them. Download or share again to include your changes.
No. CutePlots creates charts on your device without uploading your worksheet data. If you share an interactive chart, the file or link includes its numbers so your reader can explore them. Activating a paid license checks your license key without sending your worksheet data.
Most charts accept up to 120 rows and 4 columns of numbers. Pie and doughnut charts show up to 12 categories. Bubble charts show up to 30 values, all greater than zero. Network charts show up to 24 items and 60 connections between them. Line and scatter charts can include negative numbers.
CutePlots is for a hand-drawn, playful look. Deltaline draws business charts such as variance charts and bridges, linked to your data for reports. Choose CutePlots when you want sketch-style charts for a presentation, report, lesson, or post.
