Yes, everyone sees everything. The add-in deliberately writes only things Excel itself understands:
- Text marks are ordinary cell text (they sort and filter like any text).
- Attached marks live in the cell’s number format.
- Image marks, badges, circles, and arrows are ordinary shapes.
- Comments from Circle & comment are native Excel threaded comments, readable and answerable in Excel’s own comment pane.
- The legend and the open-items report are plain worksheets, and the report’s cell references are real hyperlinks.
So a partner, a client, or next year’s team opens the file in any Excel and sees the full review. The add-in is only needed to place and remove marks quickly, and to run the scans.
