The example preview can work even when Excel is not connected. Reading cells, creating sample sheets and inserting pictures need a working Excel connection.
- Open CutePlots inside Excel, rather than opening the task pane address in a standalone browser.
- Check your internet connection and use a supported Excel version.
- Open the menu beside the logo and choose Restart add-in.
- If your organisation blocks add-ins, ask its administrator about the policy.
If a worksheet action times out, check the worksheet before repeating it: Excel may still finish an action it already received. If live updates stop, press Refresh to reread the data and retry the connection.
If the problem continues, contact support with the exact message.
