This guide walks you through installing PDF2Excel and activating your license. The whole process takes a few minutes, most of that the download itself.
Step 1: Install from the Microsoft Store #
PDF2Excel installs from the Microsoft Store in one click, and updates itself from there whenever a new version ships.
Click Get on the Store page. Windows installs the app and adds it to your Start menu.
The download is around 650 MB, so give it a moment. Most of that is the text recognition that reads scanned pages, and it ships inside the app on purpose: nothing is fetched later, and no page you convert is ever uploaded anywhere.
Step 2: Activate your license #
- Open PDF2Excel from the Start menu.
- Accept the End User License Agreement on first launch.
- Paste the license key from your order confirmation email into the activation field.
- Click Activate.
That is it. Drop a PDF onto the app and its tables come out as an Excel workbook.
