Convert your first range #
- Open the XLPrompt tab. Use Insert Example Sheet if you want sample data for a first test.
- Select a small range, then click Convert Range. If prompted, enter and activate your XLPrompt license key, then run Convert Range again.
- Confirm the cells in the range selection dialog.
- With the default clipboard output, paste the result into a text editor to check it before sharing it with an AI service. If you chose file output in Settings, open the saved text file instead.
If your selection includes a header row, enable the first-row-as-headers option in Settings when you want those labels used as JSON keys. That option is off by default.
