No. SendCommander needs Windows 10 or 11. It does run inside a Windows virtual machine on a Mac (Parallels, VMware Fusion, UTM), which is what some customers do. If that route does not work out, the 14-day refund still applies.

No. SendCommander is a standalone app. It imports an Excel file if that is where your list lives, but CSV and vCard work just as well, and you can type contacts straight into it.

There is a risk. Cautious sending applies pauses and rolling limits, but it cannot guarantee protection. Custom timing turns those limits off. Recipient expectations, content and feedback matter too. Read the sending guidelines and check replies and opt-outs in WhatsApp.

Answers are remembered for 30 days, and nothing is sent to anyone.

Yes, on every plan. Import from WhatsApp, in Contacts, brings in your saved contacts, the members of a group or the people you tagged with a WhatsApp Business label. You choose who to import first, and nobody is messaged. WhatsApp hides some phone numbers; those people are skipped and you are told how many.

Pro lets you schedule a start time. Spreading a send over a duration is also available on the free plan. Keep SendCommander open and your PC awake until it finishes; minimizing is fine. Compose shows the estimated duration and local finish time. After an interruption, review the remaining recipients before continuing; sending does not restart automatically.

No, SendCommander is WhatsApp only. For text messages there is QuickText, a sister app that sends SMS through your own Android phone.
