Start with one test email to yourself. You will need desktop Excel on Windows, your Gmail address, your license key, and a Gmail app password.
Video walkthrough #
1. Prepare the workbook #
- Download Gmail Blaster from your welcome email. If the download is a ZIP archive, extract it first.
- Before opening the workbook, right-click it and choose Properties. If an Unblock checkbox appears, select it and click Apply.
- Open the workbook in Excel and click Enable Content if prompted to enable its macros.
2. Connect your account #
On the Settings sheet, enter your Gmail address, license key from the welcome email, and Gmail app password. Use an app password, not your normal Google password. Follow the app password setup guide if you do not have one.
3. Send a test email #
- Open the send list and remove the X from any example rows you do not want to send.
- In one row, set Send to X, enter your own email address in Receiver, and add a subject and message.
- Click Send Emails and confirm the send.
- Check the row’s Status and your inbox. A successful status means the mail server accepted the email; checking your inbox confirms the test arrived.
Once the test works, add your recipients and any placeholders or attachments. Test the finished layout again before sending a batch.
