Start with the included demo so you can check the template path and export before adding your own charts.
The walkthrough below demonstrates the setup and first export.
- Extract the download to a folder and open
Excel2PPT.xlsmin desktop Excel. On Windows, if the downloaded file is blocked, close Excel and use the file’s Properties > Unblock option first. Enable macros only for the trusted workbook. - On the Excel2PPT sheet, click Select PPT Template and choose the supplied
PPT_Template.pptx. Enter a file name in Output Name. - For the first export, keep the demo rows. The Range column identifies an Excel named range or chart, and Slide# chooses its destination slide. Width, Height, Top and Left control its size and position.
- Click Export To PowerPoint. With the default settings, the new presentation is saved beside the Excel workbook.
- Open the generated presentation and check the demo slides. Then replace the demo references with your own named ranges or chart names and adjust the destination slide numbers.
