Getting Started

This guide walks you through installing Office2MD and activating your license. The whole process takes about two minutes.

Step 1: Download the Installer #

Get the latest version from the official download page:

https://pythonandvba.com/go/office2md-download

Save the file (for example Office2MD_1.0.1_x64-en-US.msi) to your Downloads folder.

Step 2: Run the Installer #

Open your Downloads folder and double click the .msi file.

Step 3: Bypass the SmartScreen Warning #

Windows may show a blue Windows protected your PC screen. This is normal. It appears for any app that is not signed with a paid Microsoft trusted certificate, and it does not mean the file is unsafe.

  1. Click More info (label 1 in the screenshot).
  2. Click Run anyway (label 2 in the screenshot).

Step 4: Complete the Installation #

The installer dialog opens. Click Next through each screen, accept the defaults, and click Finish when done. A shortcut will be created on your Start menu.

Step 5: Launch and Activate #

  1. Open Office2MD from the Start menu.
  2. Accept the End User License Agreement on first launch.
  3. Paste the license key from your order confirmation email into the activation field.
  4. Click Activate.
