Add-in not visible in the Excel ribbon

The ribbon tab is named My Tool Belt. If it is missing, check that Excel is loading the add-in file.

The video shows how to enable a VBA add-in in Excel’s add-ins list.

1. Go to File > Options > Add-ins. Beside Manage, choose Excel Add-ins, then click Go.
2. If MyToolBelt is listed, select its checkbox and click OK.
3. If it is missing, click Browse and select the extracted MyToolBelt.xlam file. Keep that file in a permanent folder so Excel can find it on the next launch.
4. If Excel reports that it cannot find the file, browse to its current location. If the tab appears but buttons do nothing, follow the macros-disabled troubleshooting article.
