If the My Tool Belt tab is missing, first follow Add-in not visible in the Excel ribbon. If the tab appears but its buttons do nothing, check the installed file below.

The older video shows the Trust Center layout. Use the file-specific steps below first; the wording can differ in newer Excel versions.
Unblock the downloaded add-in #
- Save your work and close all Excel windows.
- Find the installed
MyToolBelt.xlamfile. Right-click it and choose Properties. - If Unblock appears on the General tab, select it and click Apply, then OK.
- Reopen Excel and try a MyToolBelt button in a blank workbook.
If it still does not run #
Check File > Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings > Macro Settings. A work-managed computer may prevent changes; contact your IT team if settings are locked. You do not need to enable all macros globally to unblock this downloaded add-in.
