Unload MyToolBelt from Excel first, then remove its add-in file if you no longer need it.
- Beside Manage, choose Excel Add-ins and click Go.
- Clear the MyToolBelt checkbox and click OK. The ribbon tab should disappear.
- Save your work and close all Excel windows. In File Explorer, remove the MyToolBelt
.xlamfile from the location you noted. - If a stale MyToolBelt entry remains in the add-ins list, select it. When Excel says it cannot find the file and asks whether to delete it from the list, choose Yes.
Unchecking the add-in is enough to disable it temporarily. Keep any custom icons or other files you want to use again.
