Start with a simple bar chart to check your data selection.
The older video calls the ribbon command Chart Builder and the action Create Chart. In Grafly v0.9, these are Chart and Generate Chart.

- Save your workbook, then open Grafly > Chart. Use Click Here to Add Sample Data Sheet if you want ready-made example data.
- Choose bar as the chart type and enter a file name and chart title.
- In Labels, select the category column, including its heading. In Data, select the numeric value column or columns, also including their headings. Both selections should cover the same data rows.
- Open Settings to adjust the available appearance options, then click Generate Chart.
- Open the generated HTML file in your browser if it does not open automatically. The chart service requires an internet connection.
For example, a table with Month in A1 and Sales in B1 could use A1:A4 for Labels and B1:B4 for Data. Include the headings so they are not mistaken for the first data point.
Keep the generated .json file if you want to include this chart in a dashboard later. The .html file is the chart you open in a browser.
