Yes. Excel2JSON converts your files entirely on your PC. Nothing you open, paste, convert, copy or save is ever uploaded anywhere.
The app makes exactly one kind of network request: validating a license key against our API. That request carries the key, a device name (your PC’s name plus a short identifier derived from your Windows installation), and the app version – never your files or their contents. On the free tier, the app makes no network requests at all; the 10 free conversions are counted locally on your device.

This is also the practical difference from browser-based converters: with Excel2JSON, confidential workbooks – client data, payroll, unreleased numbers – never leave the machine they are on.
