The badge says 0 free left and Copy/Save show the license prompt: you have used the 10 free conversions that come with every install.
What still works #
- Browsing files, selecting ranges and previewing output stays available – nothing disappears from the preview.
- The file that used your last free conversion can still be converted again; re-copying the same data with different options never counts twice.
To keep converting #
A license is a one-time purchase (no subscription): unlimited conversions, all features, free updates. Click Get a license in the app, or see plans on the Sheet2JSON page. Activation takes a few seconds: paste the key from your order email into the license screen.
For quick one-off jobs there is also the free browser converter (one small file at a time, flat objects layout).
The app asks for an internet connection #
From version 1.1.2, each free conversion is checked quickly with our server first, so the free conversions need an internet connection (a license does not). Check your connection and try again. On a company network, make sure api.pythonandvba.com is allowed through the proxy or firewall.
Free conversions are not available on this computer #
The free conversions are given once per computer, and only to a limited number of new computers per network. If the app says they are not available on this computer, it shows a short support ID. Send that ID through the support form and I will look at this computer’s record, or get a license to keep converting.
Counted wrong? #
The counter counts one conversion per loaded file or pasted table. If you believe it advanced when it should not have, send a note through the support form with About > Copy diagnostic info pasted in.
