Map an image file to a Word bookmark so each export row can insert a different picture.
- In the Word template, select the placeholder picture or area and create a bookmark such as
Logousing Insert > Bookmark. Save the template. - In the Excel export table, add or rename a placeholder column to
Logo, matching the bookmark exactly. - Enter the full local path to the image in the cell for that document, for example
C:\Reports\Images\company-logo.pngon Windows. Use a local file path on your own computer, not a web address. - Run Export to Word and inspect the picture in the generated document.
A bookmarked placeholder picture gives the exporter dimensions to fit the replacement into while keeping its proportions. If an image is missing, check that the bookmark matches the column header and that the file exists at the path in that row.
Do not type {{Logo}} for this workflow: image insertion uses the Logo bookmark.
