Table Compare finds what changed between two versions of a table in Excel. You choose the older and the newer version, press Compare, and see which rows are changed, new or missing, and which cells changed from what to what. Rows are matched by an ID column such as SKU, which Table Compare finds by itself, so inserted, deleted or re-sorted rows do not turn every cell into a difference.
You get the result in three places: counts and a clickable list in the task pane, a report sheet in your workbook, and optional highlights in your own sheets. When next month’s version arrives, one click compares again with the same settings.
Table Compare works in Excel on Windows, Mac and the web, needs no macros and no account, and your data never leaves Excel. The getting started guide takes you from the sample data to your first result in about a minute. Every feature is free for tables of up to 200 rows, with no account and no key.
