Nothing breaks. Column, bar, line and pie charts stay free, and so does Scenario columns, the variance chart of actual against prior year or plan; charts made in free mode carry a small “Made with Deltaline” badge. Charts you made during the trial keep working and keep updating; after the trial they show “Made with Deltaline trial” until someone with a license opens the editor and clicks Apply.
A one-time license unlocks every chart type, including the variance charts and the business classics, and charts you apply under it show no badge for anyone. No subscription, no account. Both plans are lifetime licenses with future updates included: Single User for 1 user on up to 3 devices, and Team for up to 15 users. See the plans on the Deltaline page.
Colleagues who only view your workbooks never need a license.
