1.0.0 (2026) #
The first release.
- A real date picker in the Excel task pane. Click a cell, click a date: DatePop writes a true Excel date that keeps the cell’s format, in the 1900 and the 1904 date system, and moves the selection down or right.
- Insert today from the pane, the ribbon and a keyboard shortcut. Clear, Undo last date, one date into many cells, and a question before formulas or large selections are overwritten.
- ISO or US week numbers, the first day of the week from your region or your choice, month, year and decade navigation and full keyboard control.
- The pane in English, German, Spanish, French and Portuguese (Brazil), with a light and a dark theme.
- Calendar sheets for any month, with 1 to 5 rows per day (the date plus up to four rows to write in), and a year at a glance, both in the Clean style and set up to print on one page.
- Date and time in one click, with quick time slots, in the free version. Columns widen to fit the dates DatePop writes (never narrower), and the menu has a Keyboard shortcuts list.
- Pro: fill series (workdays, weekly, monthly on a day or the second Tuesday, yearly) with optional skipping of holidays, and public holidays for 207 countries.
- Pro: twelve-month and weekly planner calendars, four styles, accent colours, notes and holidays in calendars.
- Pro: events calendar from a table, colour-coded by category, with Refresh, and .ics export to Outlook and Google Calendar.
- Pro: date fields with earliest and latest date, no weekends and no public holidays, saved in the workbook. Everyone can pick into them, with or without Pro.
- Works in Excel on Windows, Mac and the web. No macros, no account, and your data stays in Excel.
