Speed is decided by the model and your hardware, not by Excel. What helps, in order of impact:
- Pick a smaller model (the model guide has fast picks). The first answer after a model switch is always slower while the model loads.
- Include less context: a selection of thousands of cells takes longer than the fifty that matter.
- Close other memory-hungry programs; models want RAM and, if present, the GPU.
