Ollama runs the AI model on your computer. XLlama supplies the Excel interface: chat, selected-cell context and worksheet formulas.
You need Ollama running and at least one local model downloaded. Installing XLlama alone does not install Ollama or a model. Follow the setup guide.
You do not need an Ollama cloud account for local models. XLlama does not use cloud models or a cloud fallback.
