No. LabelPop works inside Excel and makes the labels from your Excel list. You do not need Word, a mail merge, a data source or a document with fields. You click a cell in your list, pick a label sheet and click Create PDF.
What you get instead of a mail merge #
- A true-size preview of every sheet in the pane, with notes for lines that were made smaller or are cut off, before you print.
- An exact PDF for your sheet. You print it from your browser or PDF viewer at Actual size, so you do not need Word to print either.
- ZIP codes keep their leading zeros, filtered rows are skipped, and the PDF is the same on every computer.
- It works in Excel on the web as well as in Excel on Windows and Mac.
Do I need anything else? #
A printer, label sheets in a size LabelPop knows (see Choose the right label size) and a program that opens PDF files, such as your browser. Start with Print address labels from Excel.
