After the 14-day trial, SimpleGantt keeps working for free with:
- A live Gantt chart of up to 10 tasks, one chart per workbook.
- Bars, milestones, progress, phases and summary tasks, the today line and weekend shading.
- All themes, color by phase, owner or status, the legend, bar labels, row height and grid columns.
- Click-to-select in the sheet, tooltips and the Issues panel.
- Copy image and Download PNG. Free charts carry a small “Made with SimpleGantt” badge, on the sheet and in the image.
With more than 10 tasks, the chart shows the first 10 and a line above it says how many there are, for example “Showing 10 of 43 tasks.” with Upgrade to show all.
A second chart in the same workbook shows “One chart per workbook in the free version” instead of a chart. Show this chart instead moves the free chart slot to it, so the workbook never locks you out.
A license adds unlimited tasks and charts, dependency arrows, start dates calculated from predecessors, critical path, baselines, holidays, brand colors, a Color column and your logo, and the PowerPoint, PDF, HTML, snapshot link and picture exports without the badge. See Plans and licensing.
