Yes, it is allowed. Sending personal emails to people who expect them, like monthly reports to your team, grades to students or statements to customers, is exactly what your email account is for. SheetCourier signs in to your account the normal way and sends the emails one by one, like you would by hand, only faster.
How SheetCourier keeps your account safe #
- A calm pace. By default one email every 4 to 8 seconds. Gmail may pause an account for a day when emails go out too fast, so keep Normal unless you have a reason.
- Daily limits. SheetCourier stops a little below your provider’s daily limit and offers to send the rest tomorrow. See Daily sending limits explained.
- Normal emails. No tracking pixels and no rewritten links, which spam filters dislike.
- A “Don’t email” list for people who asked not to get your emails. See Use the “Don’t email” list.
What gets accounts blocked #
Cold emails to bought or scraped lists, and emails people did not ask for. That breaks your provider’s rules with any app, and many people marking your emails as spam gets an account blocked quickly. SheetCourier is made for people who know you. For newsletters to large lists, use a sending service with your own domain: Use a sending service for larger lists.
In many countries, marketing emails need the person’s consent and a way to opt out. For newsletters, tick Add a line that lets people ask not to get these emails (good for newsletters) in step 2.
