Some workbooks have one sheet per person or per branch: North, South, East, West. SheetCourier can send everyone their own sheet, as a table, a picture with charts, a PDF or an Excel file.
Prepare your list #
Add a column to your list that names each person’s sheet, for example a column called Sheet with North for the North manager. A named range works too: write the name of the range instead.
Set it up #
- In step 2, Your message, click Excel table on the Insert bar.
- Under Where is the table?, keep the workbook with the sheets (or click Pick another file).
- Under What does each person get?, choose Each person gets their own sheet.
- In The column of your list that names each person’s sheet, pick the column, for example Sheet.
- Choose how it should arrive. For sheets with charts, Picture in the email (looks exactly like Excel, charts too) or PDF attachment show them exactly; both need Excel on your PC.
- Click Save table and check the Preview.
If a sheet is missing #
If your list names a sheet that is not in the workbook, SheetCourier says “There is no sheet or named range called “North” in Monthly sales.xlsx for this person. Check the sheet name in your list.” Fix the name in your list or rename the sheet, then click Check again in the Check step.
A CSV file has only one sheet, so this option needs an Excel workbook.
