SheetCourier replaces Gmail Blaster, the Excel workbook that sent personal emails through Gmail. It does the same as a Windows app, works with more than Gmail, and can send each person their own rows of a table.
Bought Gmail Blaster? You get a SheetCourier Single user license for free. Look for my email, or write to me through Account & help in the app if it did not reach you.
Open your Gmail Blaster workbook #
- Install SheetCourier from the Microsoft Store.
- Connect Gmail: Connect Gmail. Your existing Gmail app password works; you can also create a new one named SheetCourier.
- Click New mailing and pick your Gmail Blaster workbook as the list.
SheetCourier recognises it and shows Welcome, Gmail Blaster user: “SheetCourier found your SEND_LIST sheet. Your {{fields}} and [[variations]] work here the same way.”
What carries over #
- The SEND_LIST sheet is picked as your list, with the column names from row 3.
- Receiver is used as the email column. CC and BCC columns can be picked under Copy to (CC, optional) and Hidden copy (BCC, optional).
- Placeholder columns like
{{Receiver_Name}}become fields with the same name, so{{Receiver_Name}}in your message keeps working. - Spintext like
[[Hi|Hello]]works the same. - The Attachment(s) column works as each person’s file; several files in one cell can be separated by a semicolon. Pick the folder with the files: Attach a different file for each person.
- The EXAMPLE row is left out.
What is different #
- The subject and message are written in SheetCourier (step 2), not in the workbook. Copy your text over once; the mailing remembers it.
- There is no Send or Status column to tick. To send to some rows only, use Only send to some rows in step 1, and SheetCourier remembers who already got a mailing.
- SheetCourier is Windows only. It does not run on a Mac, except in a Windows virtual machine.
Your Gmail Blaster workbook keeps working, and its documentation stays online at Gmail Blaster documentation.
