SheetCourier sends to many people, and each person gets their own personal email. It goes out from your own Gmail, Outlook or other account, one email at a time, and looks like an email you wrote by hand: their name, their details, their own rows of a table if you like.
What that means in practice #
- Your own account. Replies come straight back to you. There is no SheetCourier server in between.
- Within your provider’s limits. SheetCourier stops a little below your daily limit, for example 450 a day for Gmail. A bigger list is sent over several days. See Send to a big list.
- For people who agreed to get your emails. Customers, members, students, parents, your team. People who ask not to get your emails go on the “Don’t email” list and are skipped in every mailing.
What it is not for #
Cold emails to bought or scraped lists. That breaks your provider’s rules with any app and gets accounts blocked.
If you need to reach more than about 5,000 people a day, use a newsletter service. Google and Yahoo have extra rules for anyone who sends that many to their users, and newsletter services are built for them. For a few thousand a day from your own domain, a sending service works with SheetCourier: see Use a sending service for larger lists.
More on staying within the rules: Is this allowed, or will my account be banned?
