The Microsoft 365 / Outlook.com tile lets SheetCourier send through work or school Microsoft 365 accounts, Outlook.com and Hotmail. You sign in with Microsoft: SheetCourier never sees your password, and it can only send email as you. It can’t read your mailbox.
Connect it #
- Open Email accounts, click Add an email account and pick Microsoft 365 / Outlook.com.
- On Connect Microsoft 365 / Outlook.com, click Sign in with Microsoft. A Microsoft window opens. Pick or type your work, school or Outlook.com account and sign in there.
- The first time, Microsoft asks whether SheetCourier may send email as you. SheetCourier asks only to send email as you and to see your name. Click Accept.
- Under Your Microsoft account, SheetCourier shows “Signed in as” with your name and address. The sign-in counts as a working connection test, so you don’t need to press Test connection. Click Save.

Your emails go out with the name of your Microsoft account and appear in its Sent Items. If you want to use another Microsoft account, click Sign in again and pick it.
Limits #
Outlook.com allows 300 emails a day and work accounts 10,000 people a day, and SheetCourier fills in the matching daily limit for you. Microsoft allows at most 30 emails a minute, so SheetCourier never sends faster than that. Emails through Microsoft 365 or Outlook.com can carry about 3 MB of attachments: the Check step asks about anyone whose email is bigger (skip them, or send without the attachments).
If your organization must approve it #
Some companies only allow apps their IT admin approved. Microsoft then says that admin approval is needed. Click Copy a message for your IT person and send it to them. See Microsoft says admin approval is needed.
When the sign-in expires #
If a mailing stops with “Your Microsoft sign-in has expired”, click Sign in again on the result screen, then Finish this mailing. Nobody gets an email twice. You can also open Email accounts, click Edit on the account and then Sign in again.
